Winter Frolic scheduled Dec. 5-7

“The Seward Winter Frolic: Art in the ‘Hood” celebrates its 15th year of highlighting local artists and businesses with a weekend of festivities Dec. 5- 7.

The weekend kicks off with an evening of food, wine and performances including music, poetry and dance at the Playwrights’ Center on Fri., Dec. 5 from 6:30–9:30pm. Proceeds will benefit The Seward Neighborhood Group.

The Seward Art Crawl will take place on Sat., Dec. 6 from 10am-5pm and Sun., Dec. 7, from noon-5pm. More than 60 artists will be displaying and selling their work at local businesses, art and home-studios, galleries and churches. All venues are within walking distance throughout the Seward Neighbor­hood. Free pedicab rides will also be available from 1 to 5pm.
