League of Women Voters announces Minneapolis School Board candidate forum

League of Women Voters Minneapolis will host a candidate forum for Minneapolis School Board. All candidates on the general election ballot have been invited.  Advancing Equity Coalition is a co-sponsor for this candidate forum.

This forum will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 1 to 2:30 p.m., at the University of Minnesota Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC), 2001 Plymouth Ave. N., Minneapolis.

Candidates will respond to questions on a wide variety of issues of concern to voters.

League of Women Voters of Eastern Carver County member and LWV Minnesota President Laura Helmer will moderate.

Voters can submit questions before the event to LWV Minneapolis at vote@lwvmpls.org. Audience members will also have the opportunity to submit questions in writing at the event, in accordance with forum rules. By League of Women Voters policy, the identity of the person asking the question is confidential.
