LoLa atists are back!

Find LoLa art and artists again during the Longfellow Artists’ Weekend, a low-key neighborhood art crawl organized by the League of Longfellow Artists (LoLa). "Our artists are eager to greet you after a one-year pandemic-induced hiatus, and will be showing and selling their work at homes and businesses throughout Greater Longfellow. Many sites are outdoors or in well-ventilated indoor spaces, often hosting two or more artists together," say organizers.

Visitors can find more information on the LoLa website, LoLaArt.org. As the crawl date approaches, the site will also provide a directory listing the artists and their media, with photos of their work, and a map showing where to find them during the weekend. Sites will be marked by the familiar bright yellow LoLa yard signs.

Participating artists live and/or work in Greater Longfellow, or are guests of these neighborhood artists.
Greater Longfellow is bordered by the Midtown Greenway, Minnehaha Falls, Hiawatha Avenue and Mississippi River.

Background: The League of Longfellow Artists (LoLa) was formed in 2009 to organize an annual
neighborhood art crawl, which has taken place every year until 2020, when it was cancelled because of COVID-19. Incorporated as a nonprofit in 2017, LoLa is a volunteer-run organization of artists who live or work in Longfellow. Its mission is to partner with neighborhood arts organizations, nonprofits, small businesses, and residents to support Longfellow artists at any stage in their creative lives, and invite and encourage community participation in the arts.
