Why I am running for this office: I am running for the Minnesota Senate in District 63. Public safety is my number one issue, and the issues we face must be addressed on the state level for there to be any comprehensive reform to the conditions as they stand. This is not a situation that can be addressed by exclusively looking at policing,.We must look at whole system reform in policing, mental health, housing, the interrelations between numerous systems, agencies, departments, and organizations.
