Nokomis residents protest 'No Kings'

Posted

At noon on March 28, about 500-1000 residents of the Nokomis neighborhood lined Cedar Avenue south of East 52nd Avenue to protest a variety of issues for the third No Kings Day rally. The sign-wielding crowds received a constant flood of appreciative horns honking from passing motorists.

The Nokomis No Kings protest was one of over 3,300 that day attended by millions of people. They were in all 50 states and internationally, as well. The St. Paul event was the flagship and people packed in around the Capitol to hear Bruce Springsteen and Bernie Sanders, among others. Initial estimates say there were more than 200,000 there.
