What's next for golf course?

What's next for Hiawatha Golf Course? The Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners voted against approving the master plan created by community members that would have removed the 18-hole golf course and replaced it with a 9-hole course and other community amenities. The plan will be brought back to the planning committee. Due to an amendment, the plan required a 6 vote minimum and received 4 ayes and 2 nays with 2 abstentions.
